How did we get from little Shetland Sheepdogs to Belgians?  It started with a statement from Rich: "I want a big dog."  He saw a picture of a Belgian in a dog book and knew that was the breed he wanted.  Shortly after we purchased a three year old female Belgian named Morgan.  Then I wanted my own Belgian.  So we got Jared.  We've gotten a few others along the way.

A little about the breed.  Belgians get to be 24 to 26 inches to the "withers" or top of the shoulder blade.  This makes them about the size of a German Shepherd.  They weigh anywhere between 45 to 70 pounds.  Most range from 50 to 60 pounds.  Obviously they were bred to herd, but they are also used for tracking and in Belgium, they are used for police work.  

Jared, is a beautiful male who is a good example of the "European" style of Belgian.  He received his championship in 2009. He loves our family, but is devoted to me. Cisco loves me, but is devoted to Rich.  This is a Belgian trait: they love their human families, but there is one person they will develop a particular "bond" with. 

Cisco is our "token terv". He has turned out absolutely beautiful, although don't tell him that, he'll just get more demanding!

Murron is Jared's daughter and is now a champion as well as her daddy.  She received her championship in 2010. Murron takes pride into getting into things she should not. Don't ask her about mom's three week old cell phone. Sigh.

We occasionally have puppies.  We guarantee health on our pups, offer a written contract, AKC papers, and invite you to come out and meet our dogs.
